I keep geting the BSOD when I install my [GUWAVKIT4] Wireless 1080p Computer to HD Display Kit, 1 HD Output, mainly the USB satellite device. Not sure what is wrong so I am thinking that I should upgrade. Current setup:
CPU: Acer Predator: Intel Core i5 (2.8GHz) /LGA 1155
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT420/1GB

It would appear your cause is due to sgfxk64.sys which is the SMSC Graphics Adapter Driver. You should update it here: http://www.microchip.com/pagehandler/en-us/technology/pcsystems/home.html

As you can see it's quite outdated. Updating it should fix it.

The reason why I can't point you to the exact driver you need to download is I don't know what version of this SMSC Graphics Adapter you have. You need to look for your model and download the driver.

Help, I upgraded my SMSC Graphics Adapter and now my monitors have gone blank? They system reboots, the mouse is visible but the desktop is black with no icons? The screen saver works, as well as the task manager but nothing? I ran system restore but I still get the same issue.

No your fix was perfect, my system didn't crash anymore. The issue that I ran into was a piece of software [[GUWAVKIT4] Wireless 1080p Computer to HD Display Kit, 1 HD Output] that I kept installing (well it would disappear). It would tell me that it was installed but when I went to the folder to run it, the software wasn't there. So, I uninstalled it and ran a system restore so I could start over from the beginning. But now, a black screen..so suggestions?? I was going to boot up in safe mode with networking capabilities, enable windows installer so I could remove the software.
