I have included my bsod logs below taken from blue screen view my computer either restarts or freezes daily where I got to power cycle. Losing anything I've worked on for the day unfortunately. Seems the logs are consistent and I've updated my nvidia GTX 970 drivers thinking that was the issue, but it's something else. Would appreciate the help!

If there are any other logs you need. Please let me know.

UPDATE:

I ran sfc.exe /scannow and there were corrupt files.

I then ran: dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Found these on other threads, but continue to come back to the computer and it's either restarted or 1 of my monitors is on, but black like there is no signal. Computer essentially locked up. This is ONLY happening when i'm away from my computer for I'm guessing at least an hour if not more.

I have a Samsung 840 evo ssd drive installed. It does have the latest firmware.

Does anyone have a clue what I should try next?

Solution
Darn. It looks like your problem could be a number of things. Read this thread http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/4544-73-bsod-dpc_watchdog_violation

1. Make sure all of your cables in your computer are connected properly. You said you ran diskcheck and they were fine. the cables might not be though.
2. Run MEMTEST86 and check for errors in memory (I'm not sure if you did this already)
3. If memtest and doesn't find any errors try updating the bios and chipset. Be careful you can brick your computer. There are a lot of good tutorials and everything should go smoothly if you follow them.
4. Did you try reinstalling you windows? Backup your important files and reinstall windows.
I am no expert but if it only happens when you are away from your computer it could be some sort of power management feature on the CPU causing the crash once you start to idle. Try disabling all power management features for your CPU in the bios.

I tried resetting my power management back to default. Seems it lasted a bit longer, but was locked up display gone, but monitor was on like it was getting a signal from the computer. Had to cold reboot the computer. I've periodically checked it and it may be 4-5 hours later and seems to be ok, but when I'm at work or when i goto bed and wake up the next day is when it happens.

Try to go into your windows power settings and make sure the display does not go to sleep and disable sleep mode. Then set up a screen saver that is blank. I think your computer is going into sleep mode and then not waking up properly. When you reset your power options to default it just delayed the sleep mode so it happens later now. So you need to turn off sleep on idle entirely. If that fixes it we can start to diagnose and fix the issue. If not then we will continue to try to find the root cause.

Sleep Mode is disabled. I just set turn off screen to never. When I click additional power settings. I already set turn off hard disk after Never because I have a sdd drive is my primary and a non-ssd for my secondary drive.

Screen saver is setup to blank screen. Had this set to never before.

I've run cleanmgr.exe and deleted everything including old windows files.

I ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth Scanhealth and restorehealth and all 3 of these pass with flying colors.

If I restart my computer and leave it at the login screen WITHOUT logging in. Computer does not restart or freeze. Seems it may either be a setting or corrupt files or drivers somewhere.

I've ran malware bytes and spybot S&D along with avast.

Ran hijackthis.exe and cross referenced it with hijackthis.de and found a few files that cause concern. Cleaned it up and will see if the problem persist.

Woke up this morning with a BSOD DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

Looking at bluescreenview I'm guessing there are multiple files that are affected?

What should I post other than what is in my first post above?
