[SOLVED] BSOD happening frequently over the past few months.

Hey everyone,

I've been getting random BSOD very often since building my PC a few months ago.

When I view the event using the Blue Screen View application, although the error codes differ, it always seems to be caused by ntoskrnl.exe, sometimes with vgk.sys..

I have included a link to the minidump files below, any help would be much appreciated.

What are specs of the PC?

I will ask a friend to convert dumps, he will reply later with a link I can use to read a conversion of the dumps. See what BSOD you getting

I'll install the latest chipset drivers if needed, and I just noticed I'm a little behind with my GPU driver. Will update that too and see if it helps.

There is a BIOS update available for your system. You're using version 0805. The latest stable version is 2006. We recommend avoiding Beta versions. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. As they too old for win 10, what are they for?

try updating your Nvidia drivers

Do you use WIFI or Ethernet?

I updated all chipset and GPU drivers as recommended, got another BSOD this morning. I'm thinking I'll need to update the BIOS as well. If anyone could send a link on how to go about doing that properly, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Pay attention to the warning in the manual: DO NOT shut down or reset the system while updating the BIOS! Doing so can cause system boot failure!

Verify it's the correct manual before starting.

In the manual, read both sections 2.3 and 2.4 before starting. Hopefully you won't need 2.4.

Update to version 2006. Don't try the Beta versions.

Hey guys, quick update. I updated the BIOS to the latest stable version, and got rid of those drivers associated with PulseSecure VPN - everything has been smooth since, so I think I've solved the issue. Thanks for all the help!
