I was having trouble with my laptop. After loading the OS it would take about another 10 minutes to see the lo gin screen, and then another 5 minutes to log in(if at all). After some research, it seemed like it was a hard drive issue, I replaced the mechanical hard drive with a new SSD, everything was fine.
However, within a month of making this hardware change, I have encountered another error. When I turn on the laptop, immediately after the Windows 7 load screen, I get the BSOD. I am starting the think the problem wasn't actually with the hard drive. Any thoughts or steps I could take towards solving this? I did some tests on the RAM and no errors were found.
