I have over 1500 hours in Csgo, been playing fine for years. On Aug 19 I try to log on steam and I get dsod. I try again and get bsod. I uninstall steam and all games in steam, no problems. I reinstall steam with success. Log on no problems, I begin to install Csgo, at 95% I get bsod, I restart computer and try to resume Csgo from the 95% it's at, bsod. I restart computer and load up steam, I install H1Z1 with success and play the game with success.... I install dead by daylight with success and play game with success.... Only Csgo is failing..... Been no problems for years now this. Diablo 3 no problems, The Division no problems... Ram isn't a problem cpu temps are low, nothing seems wrong with anything but Csgo....

Solution
Here's what I did, reinstall Windows, do not install anti virus or malware protection. Install only graphic drivers and the motherboard drivers disc. Do not install team speak. Then install steam and install Csgo. It should work fine. This is what I have done and game is running fine.
I installed like this with no issues then I installed teamspeak and during connecting to my TS server I got bsod. Since then I only did the minimum to install steam and Csgo and I have been running fine for last 5 days. I have a support ticket into steam but they are slow as hell to respond I'll keep you updated.
Well I have just reinstalled windows in the last 20 mins. It's a Stop 0x0000007F which from what I'm reading could be a million things.... Hopefully reinstall helped, I was just curious if anyone may know something. Csgo did just have an update and since then I am unable to play. Is it possible it was just the Csgo update and not my pc?

im also having this exact problem i managed to get csgo downloaded via running safe mode and restarting but now when i try to launch the game it crashes with the same error ram and cpu non issue as well redrum were you running csgo in a compatiaility mode? id like to find out if we were running with any common settings
