Hello,

Since playing God of War game, the game crashes after about 30 minutes with a blue screen with the message IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I used DriversCloud to know the origin of the crash and here is what I get:

I specify that I have:

  • Windows 10 up to date.
  • ALL drivers up to date.
  • 3GB of virtual memory on SSD C: (system) and 24Gb max of virtual memory on SSD E: (where the game is). Maybe I should set up more VRAM? I have 16Gb RAM.
  • I've SFC /verifyonly and used SFCFix ; everything is fine.
  • I play a lot of AAA games and never had an issue.
The game is super fluid, I have 80 FPS on average but still...

Do you have any idea because I haven't had this on any game...

Thank you.

Just entertaining a possibility but
It once happened on my old dell laptop and the crashes would get worse and worse each day with either the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error or some other one, even to the point that i could keep it open for more than 10 minutes on desktop

What solved it for me was cleaning the clogged cpu fan to which i assume it might be triggered by overheating so i suggest you check that

Thank you for your answer. I will to do this this evening.

Also, I should have checked earlier but it seems that this particular game has HUGE memory leak issue. Does a memory leak and important memory consumption could cause this error IRQL?

I don't know if it's related but I increased the pagefile again to have a maximum size of 42 Gb and I can now play a little longer than before.
