Question BSoD issue.

Just recently I was playing RS6 Siege and while playing, my pc BSoD. As I tried to assess the problem I noticed the RGB in my Corsair 8gb stick was out when I turned on the pc. I put the stick in a different slot, and it worked again. Later in the day, the exact same thing happened. I swapped the same card to the previous slot it was in when it quit working the first time. Worked good as new. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
