Hi!

I'm not one to turn to forum posts for stuff like this, but I don't think I have any choice, I'm just so exhausted from all this.
Installed new motherboard, CPU and RAM on thursday last week. It worked well until say sunday morning, where I started getting a lot of blue screens. System_service_exception, irql_not_less_or_equal, DPC Watchdog_violation, you name it. Happens every 5 minutes, right after boot aswell. System can also freeze. Has to be mentioned that both the CPU and Mobo was bought from someone else, but it was working fine at his computer when I was at his place doing the purchase.
Some of the dumps in BlueScreenView say ntoskrnl.exe, ntfs.sys, dxgmms2.sys are what's failing.
I've tried clean installing Windows 3 times, updating drivers, updating BIOS, taking all components out and reinstalling them, only one ram stick at a time. Nothing's working, just goes straight to bsod again. RAM sticks are brand new, and Memtest returns no errors. CPU is not overheating.
I'm suspecting hardware failure, but I wanted to hear some opinions before I spend money only to be disappointed by more bsods.

Specs:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1060 3GB
Mobo: Asus ROG Strix Z370-E
PSU: Silver Power SP-SS500 500W
CPU: Intel I7-8700K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600MHz 16GB

Thanks in advance!

its hardware all right, 3 installs of windows and still crashes, no one is that unlucky to get same drivers each time

try running this on CPU - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15951/19792/intel-processor-diagnostic-tool.html?

dxgmms2.sys is direct X. Most of time it crashes its the GPU drivers.

have you tried running PC without GPU in it, run off the igpu instead. Only since one crash could be GPU drivers.
bare minimum install. CPU, MB, Power, one stick of ram

The diagnostic tool shows no errors. Booted without GPU and one RAM stick now, will see what happens.

Booted without GPU. Deactivated the Realtek wireless driver and also downloaded Armoury Crate from the Motherboard page.

Not a single bsod in 30 minutes, which is very unusual. Usually happened right after boot, or around every 5 minutes.

Update: Nevermind, bsod after 35 minutes. Irql_not_less_or_equal (notoskrnl.exe).... I'm close to giving up now. Has to be the motherboard, right?

can't really test motherboards. Test everything else and work backwards.
tested CPU
tested RAM

how old is PSU? I see that model all way back to 2008

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

  1. Open Windows File Explore
  2. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
  3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
  4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
  5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
  6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
  7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Sorry for the late answer! Here are some minidumps I've collected :)

On the PSU, it's from 2011, so it definitely could be the culprit aswell.

Hi, I ran the dump files through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/o1trq85f/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

You are already using the latest stable BIOS available for your system.

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

driver irq error mentions NETIO.sys which is used by windows to talk to lan drivers
Jun 11 2018e1i65x64.sysIntel(R) Gigabit Adapter driver
try running this: https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html

now its always possible its
Apr 02 2018RtkBtfilter.sysFilter Driver for the Realtek Bluetooth Chip
do you have a BT dongle as its odd you have BT and not WIFI

2nd BSOD mentions storport.sys which is used to talk to SSD, the intel updater might update Intel rapid storage technology drivers, could fix this.
May 09 2019iaStorAC.sysIntel Rapid Storage Technology driver
3rd error, not sure
4th error GPU drivers, might have happened before you removed GPU?
5th error - not sure

But with 3 known problems, the other unknowns could also be solved with updates.

Got a new PSU, but it wasn't the fix haha.
Can't even run the intel assistant, it just blue screens everytime I try to install...

update: nevermind, got it to run. "No supported driver or software updates are available".
