My pc is about 1.5 years old (homebuild) . Nerver had any problems until yesterday.

While having a game of league of legends I suddenly get a bsod. The bsod gets into a loop with different bsod mesaages, but is sometimes able to boot all the way into Windows for a few seconds.

I have tried to format my hdd but cant re-install windows because of bsod before i get to install it. Tried another too. Hdd works fine on my laptop and Samsung utility says it is healthy.
Bios also works fine.

I have tried taking the RAM out 1 by 1.

Reset motherboard and update.

Ran mtest86 with all passes - took about 10hours and 30 min. No errors.

I can enter safe mode and see my hardware with no problem

Hardware is:
Msi b150m bazooka
Cpu intel i5 6500
Kingston hyperx savage ddr4 2133mhz 2x8gb
Gforce gtx 1060 strix
Ssd Samsung 850 120 gb
And I run Windows 10

what error codes do you get?

can you go into safe mode, open file explorer, navigate to C:\windows folder, set the view to show hidden files and folders, and look for memory.dmp UNless its several gb in size, can you copy it to a USB and upload to a file sharing web site and share link here? It will tell us what BSOD you getting.

Have you tried to take GPU out and see if it still BSOD? Since its probably not ram after running memtest, we need to look elsewhere.

Hi, I ran the dump files through the debugger. Only 2 of the 5 files were valid. I got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/SHyO.html

File: 110217-3437-01.dmp (Nov 2 2017 - 16:52:25)
BugCheck: [SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3B)]
Probably caused by: memory_corruption (Process: WerFault.exe)
Uptime: 0 Day(s), 0 Hour(s), 00 Min(s), and 10 Sec(s)

File: 110217-3390-01.dmp (Nov 2 2017 - 16:32:34)
BugCheck: [IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (A)]
Probably caused by: memory_corruption (Process: svchost.exe)
Uptime: 0 Day(s), 0 Hour(s), 00 Min(s), and 09 Sec(s)

I can't help you with this. Wait for someone else to reply. Good luck.

none of the drivers showing are old and none stand out as obvious candidates.

Mar 17 2017 dump_iaStorA.sys (Generic Description) dump_*.sys drivers usually provide disk access during a crash to write dump files.
Mar 17 2017 iaStorA.sys Intel SATA Storage Device RAID Controller
Mar 19 2017 e1d65x64.sys Intel(R) Gigabit Adapter NDIS 6.x driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
Apr 04 2017 TeeDriverW8x64.sys Intel® Management Engine Interface
Sep 14 2017 nvhda64v.sys Nvidia HDMI Audio Device http://www.nvidia.com/
Oct 27 2017 nvlddmkm.sys Nvidia Graphics Card driver http://www.nvidia.com/

werfault.exe is used for Windows Error Reporting. It is a feature that allows Microsoft to track and address errors relating to the operating system, Windows features, and applications. It gives you the option to send data about errors to Microsoft and to receive information about solutions. Something is causing a stir, shame 3 of the dumps didn't work.

Did you clean install win 10 after getting new motherboard? As that would help, you would otherwise have drivers matching old hardware on the new one.

well, I don't like recommending this but it should show if it is a driver causing the errors

Try running driver verifer, just read the instructions carefully. It is part of win 10 designed to find misbehaving drivers. It will cause BSOD, that is its job since it tests drivers.

note: sometimes this will put you into a boot loop so it helps to have a win 10 installer handy to get out again. Also helps to run system restore before hand to create a backup to roll back to if necessary.

Once it bsod, upload the dump file here and we see what it says (though BSOD should show a file name)

The instructions to stop it looping are in the link above I will show u anyway
change boot order so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
hit the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
Pc will restart and load safe mode
Now open command Prompt
type verifer /reset and press enter
restart PC

that is an impressive collection of errors

and in some cases its errors I never seen before
IRQL GT Zero at System Service... nope, not seen this before.

Do you have Bitdefender installed? (Shouldn't have norton and bitdefender on same PC< causes problems)

and files I never seen before
wcifs.sys = Windows Container Isolation FS Filter Driver
kbshid.sys = Keyboard driver (Windows)
fvevol.sys - Part of Bitlocker
wimFsf.sys - Part of Norton Antivirus?

run windows update, only as you should be on 16299.19 and you only on 16299.15 (I doubt this will fix anything)

Was that SFC scan on this install? If so, try this

right click start button
choose powershell (admin)
copy/paste this command:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and press enter
run SFC /scannow after this and see if it fixes the things it couldn't before

I ran a memtest friday while I was out having some beers. When I came home it had completed with zero errors. But the screen was frozen, so turned it of and now I have no display. Gonna buy/borrow some other ram and then returned to you

IRQL GT Zero at System Service is an error I have never seen... makes it rare

there is a newer version of the BIOS than what you have. based on release dates. It has no number thou: https://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B250G-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/ (I got mixed up for a while wondering why dump showed an Asus board and description showed MSI, I forgot you swapped)

you could try running off the onboard IGPU and see if you get a picture then?

The last error on your page mentions Nvidia, not sure how I missed it. If you get a picture using the igpu, try this:

http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2767677/clean-graphics-driver-install-windows.html amd depending where you got nvidia drivers before, do the opposiute, so if you got them from nvidia, try windows update instead.
