I had installed a new SSD M2 samsung 970 evo 1tb on my pc a few months ago.
It was a bit difficult to make it work in the beginning but i didn't have any problems after that.
i cloned my previous SSD to the new M2 and everything worked out fine.

While i was working my computer crashed today and i got the BSOD. After windows rebooted it did so from my previous regular SSD that i had still in my pc with a complete backup of my operating system.
Now i cant see the M2 in disk format-partition settings or inside BIOS

the BSOD error is this : WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
and inside the Device Manager under Storage controllers, the Standard NVM Express Controller is not working - driver version 10.0.19041.1266

pc parts:
Windows 10
i7 5930k
Asus x99 pro - (with latest version of BIOS)
GTX 970
64GB RAM Crucial
M2 Samsung EVO 970 1TB
SSD 256gb
3 HDDs

Solution
1st try removing the M.2 and boot into windows. and try to update windows and/or your mobo drivers. after that reinsert the M2. see if that helps

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR stands for Windows Hardware Error Architecture. it means that a hardware issue has occurred on your computer. Issues could be related to such things as hard drives, processor, power supply, bad or corrupted memory (DRAM). It also could be that the device drivers are outdated or corrupted. Another reason could be voltage changes. (from here)

i turned on the pc, booting up was really fast didnt even have time to press delete to go into BIOS and my M2 is back and running. It fixed itself? is there any test i can do to see what the heck happened? there is no dump file.
