Hey,
I recently turned on my old pc only to notice its crashing every ~5min, after thinking about it for some minutes I noticed the ssd was at 100% load so it tried deleting as much as possible on it just for the pc to crash again and everything being on it again, so I tried for ages to get the windows installer to run, just to notice I couldnt format the ssd for some reason, so I swapped it out for a new one.

Tried to install windows from an usb on it got to the installing window where it just kept loading and afterwards crashing..

Specs:
Mainboard Asus Sabertooth x79 tuf
cpu: i7 4820k
ram: ddr3 1666mhz
gpu: 1050 ti

  • Things I already tried:
  • Removing CMOS Battery & waiting
  • different ram / only 1 slot
  • booting without gpu
  • reseating the cpu& cooler
  • booting pretty much without anything, I always get to the bios just fine and nothing really happens but as soon as I try to install windows from my USB it crashes
I really hope someone smarter than me can figure it out.

Thanks
