Hi Everyone,
I have looked through a couple of the other threads to no avail and was wondering if someone can give me a few ways to possibly fix the issue.
Recently began receiving a BSOD for "Memory_Management" every so often in both a Windows 8.1 build (recently entirely reformatted), and prior to this when I had upgraded to Windows 10 on the same rig.
I assume this either has to do with having a possible faulty stick of RAM (though they are relatively new), but may be related to the system being unstable based on the build.
I am currently using the following (summary):
-Intel i7-4790k Devils Canyon (4.0) (not overclocked beyond box spec)
-32GB Corsair Vengance DDR-3 2400Mhz RAM (not overclocked beyond whatever it defaults to)
-Asus Z97-PRO Motherboard
-Corsair RM1000 PSU.
The system seemingly runs fine with 16GB of RAM, and even 24GB but then seems to crash out now when I am watching YouTube or doing some gaming with the full 32GB installed every so often.
I did run the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool which presented no errors.
Any tips (if it is wattage, or timing, etc to fix in the bios would be awesome as I would really like to get these working at the full 2400Mhz spec stable)
I know that the CPU is rated at 1600Mhz but have also read that I should be able to use the full 2400.
Thanks for the help.
-Mike
