Recently I built my own computer. After ordering all the parts and putting them in the corresponding places on the motherboard I downloaded windows 8.1 embedded industry pro, which I acquired through school. Once I saw it booted correctly I instantly jumped up and did a victory dance, as I was happy it worked correctly. This however did not last long, as about a week later I got a BSOD error which said "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT".

My build consists of the following parts:

CPU: AMD ryzen 5 1600.
Motherboard: MSI B350M Gaming pro.
Power supply: EVGA 500W Bronze certified.
Graphics card: Palit GeForce GTX 1060 dual.
RAM: 8GB LPX Vengeance 2400Mhz.
Boot drive: 120 GB SSD from ADATA.
Storage: 1TB HDD from Western Digital.
Operating system: Windows 8.1 embedded industry pro.

I've tried multiple things to correct this error, including but not limited to:

- Reinstalling some drivers, such as the graphics drivers.
- Using the command "sfc /scannow".
- Deleting temporary files.
- Installing all windows updates.

Heck, I even tried using Driver booster 5.1, which looked sketchy to me.

I found a critical error in event viewer which said that the source of it is "kernel-power", along with the message "The system rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

I'm stumped, and really need some help figuring this out.

I have removed the restart option, but when it crashed again it did not show any errors on the screen. It just froze.
