Hey guys,
I have a gtx 1050ti and I've tried to install the latest nvidia drivers for my cars about 6 times over the past month and every single time when it shows the progress bar, about 5 seconds later my computer restarts with BSOD. I always have to go from a system restore point and I've tried using DDU for a clean install but nothing is working, please help.
Specs:
intel i7 4770k
gtx 1050ti
maximus vi formula mobo
550w psu
1tb hdd
240gb ssd
2x4gb ddr3 corsair vengeance ram.

I also think the blue screen says system service exception?

That's not a good sign.. Where did you buy it from?

I wanted to check if it's an 1050Ti model requiring a 6pin pcie plug at the rear side of the card and query if it does, did you connect it?
It does not have the plug, I just connect it to the pcie slot on the motherboard

Ohh.. sorry to hear that, hope you get refunded.

Lot's of people have got caught out, you're not the first and won't be the last. Devious people, and a lot of fake cards about coming from but not limited to but 'most' are from China sold on sites like ebay/Amazon.
