BSOD on startup after re-installing Intel Rapid Storage Tech drivers

I've had IRST running successfully on this machine for some time. It manages 2 hdd's set on raid1 and a ssd as a raid0 cache.

Today, IRST wasn't running & every attempt to start it crashed. When restarting the machine, the IRST screen didn't even appear during post.

So, probably because I've been sick with the flu and the fever has rotted my brain, I grabbed the Asus mobo disk and ran through installing the drivers. Afterwards, I rebooted as prompted. Now it blue screens on start up.
Suggestions?

Thanks for the quick response!

Yeah, I've trued that. The bios was set on ACHI, so I switched it raid - and that actually got me to the options to start in safe mode, etc... Trying my luck, I tried starting normally. That of course blue screened and now I can't bring back an option for safe mode. I've tried repeatedly switching the setting back and forth between achi & raid - just to trigger a different start option, and all I'm now able to get is either a) startup repair (doesn't work), or b) the 'Windows couldn't start' screen asking for the system disk.

(And no. I have no restore points.) ;-(

The IRST screen shows both raid volumes normal.

So I was able to get Windows to start after switching the sata mode to IDE. So that at least gets me past the blue screen. Now I'm unsure how to get things fixed. Will post a new question with full details.
