BSOD on startup

I just installed a new amd fx 6300 into my 760GM P23 mobo, black screen one beep, swap with different ram, gets to where windows 8 is loading, but then BSODs quickly restarts with no error message code. I cant get into the F8 launch menu to turn it off, or run disks. I can only get into bios. Ang idea?

have you reinstalled OS after CPU swap? if not then you need to reinstall your OS

How would i be able to with the no boot from disk issue?

unplug all of your hard drives then try booting into a linux live disk. if that works then everything is okey with your PC and just needs OS installation. just format your full hard drive then reinstall os

Where is the old CPU? Put it back in.

And make sure you have at least BIOS "7641vHB" installed. Might need to find out what your current BIOS version is and ask MSI if that current BIOS supports the FX-6300 or not.
