Question BSOD Opening Chrome and Premiere Pro after Updating to Windows 10

I just updated to Windows 10 and now Chrome crashes when I open it. Premiere Pro also crashes when I try to play back a video. I used to get these crashes less frequently with 8.1 but now I get crashes every time I open them. I have updated to the newest graphics drivers with Geforce Experience. The memory diagnostic came back with no errors. When I run chkdsk I get error the type of file system is NTFS. Cannot lock drive. Cannot run because volume is in use by another proccess. Thank you for the reply. I use the Aorus app center to update. How can I check if my chipset is up to date? I have not updated the bios yet cause I don't wanna lose my only computer if something goes wrong. I think i have 2 bios though. Guess I should wish myself luck and update the bios. I was also told to reset bios by taking battery out
