Solution
I've had video fail from an improper dot-net install.

If you can do a fresh load of windows to collect all the other software you need. If not then run windows updates a few times, check the file system for errors (open 'my computer' right click drive, properties, tools, check for errors, say yes when asked to schedule), etc.

IF the BSOD is on one particular game then look to the game site for patches. Verify that other games work OK.

IF you have another PC you can verify the card is working. Bad card (not seated correctly, dust in the pcie slot or failed card) can cause this. Removing and reinstalling the card physically is something I'd do only after running with a know good windows install.

Aside, other fails like bas RAM...

Aside, other fails like bas RAM can also cause this. If you are seeing other BSOD problems suggest you run memory diagnostic. But again I'd try to get the softwre right first.
