Hi this is my first post.

i have recently updated the PC, but before this i was getting the BSOD once in a while.

Since i have upgraded the pc it seems to happen a lot more often 10-20 times a day.

BSOD error is thread stuck in device driver.

i have done everything the internet has suggested. basically made sure all drivers are updated including bios.

im thinking that it might be my psu

my PC
CPU: FX 8350 (UPGRADED FROM FX 4130)
GPU: AMD RX570 OC EDITION (UPGRADED FROM a GT 630
RAM: 8GB HYPERX FURY DDR3 1866HZ (2X4GB)
MOBO: asus m5a97 r2.0
DVD: 1X DRIVE
HD 1: 1X SSD
HD 2: 1X 1TB
PSU: ANTEC 500W WHITE.

NOTHING IS OC'd just running stock

Im looking to purchase 1 of these psu.

1:Thermaltake SMART RGB 600W 80 PLUS Power Supply $75au
2: Thermaltake Smart BX1 RGB 650W 80+ Bronze Power Supply $95au

i know the second choice is better but this is only a 6 month pc before i buy a currant model laptop

this pc is used for maybe 1hr a week gaming and photoshop (just pic basic editing)

BSOD is usually GPU or PSU.

Are you getting any artifacting or display errors? Also can you check the Event Viewer and check the System Logs making sure to look for Critical's at the time of the reset.

If you plan on buying a PSU for a 6 month use and then once you get the laptop pretty much never using the PC again or very minimally then one of those power supplies is fine, or you could go cheaper. If you plan on just getting rid of the PC I would go as cheap as you can.
