Hey all,

Hope someone can help me solve this annoying problem with my system.

Description of the issue:
When I either browse the net (Chrome), or play World of Warcraft my PC randomly freezes or goes into BSOD screen.
The behavior in WoW is especially strange - the FPS drops from 99 to around 10-15 and then the screen freezes. A minute or two later the PC restarts itself and everything's peachy again.

I doubt it's due to overheating - got AC in the PC room and the whole PC is watercooled.
I have a slight OC going - so I tried to run everything at stock settings and the issue still occured.

PC Setup:
OS: Windows 10 Pro Build 1803
CPU: Intel i7 6950x @4GHZ
Motherboard: Asus ROG Rampage V Edition 10
RAM: 4x 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3200
OS HD: Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2 SSD
GPU: 2x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming, 8192 MB GDDR5X in SLI Mode
PSU: Super Flower Leadex 80 Plus Platinum 1200W

Hey RARRAF, the BIOS version im runnig is the latest non-beta one - 1801. There's a v1902 (Spectre/Meltdown fixes) but that's only in beta.

Yes, power plan is on high performance.

I installed whocrashed and it analyzed the dump I posted above:

Conclusion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers:

nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 398.82 , NVIDIA Corporation)

If no updates for these drivers are available, try searching with Google on the names of these drivers in combination with the errors that have been reported for these drivers. Include the brand and model name of your computer as well in the query. This often yields interesting results from discussions on the web by users who have been experiencing similar problems.

There was a new Game Ready nVidia driver last night (398.82) - the latest crash happened with that driver.

Thanks, did a clean install of the latest nVidia drivers - let's see how this goes (followed the guide on DDU with Safe Mode and no net after restart etc).
