BSoD start up error

I have a acer aspire 7741z running windows 7.I can't get it to start up in normal mode or safe mode.I once had an error that read BAD_POOL_CALLER.I was wondering is there a way to fix the error from another computer.I removed the hard drive and connected it to my other computer.I don't want a fresh install because I have a lot of music programs on it.Can I repair the os while the hard drive is connected to my other pc?

you can try a repair installation or try to boot to cmd prompt and run chkdsk /r
