BSOD Stop Code: Faulty_Hardware_Corrupted_Page

Hi,

Just received one of the dreaded BSOD

Just said:

"Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you.

The stop code was Faulty_Hardware_Corrupted_Page

Would really appreciate any help in seeing if something needs resolved and then how to fix it.

That's most likely a RAM error. There are two ways to test your RAM...

1. If you have multiple sticks, remove one stick and run only on the other(s) for a while. If it still BSODs swap RAM sticks and test again. This is 100% guaranteed to find a potentially faulty RAM stick.
2. Download Memtest86, use the extracted tool top make a bootable USB drive, and then boot that USB drive. Memtest86 will start running as soon as it boots. This will find about 95% of most RAM problems.
