So this morning my computer started giving me a SYSTEM_HARDWARE_EXCEPTION when I try to play Europa Universalis IV. Each time, it's happening between 1-15 minutes into playing, and it's not happening when I watch John Oliver on YouTube, check my email, look at Google News, or the several other things I do regularly in the morning. So I validated the game files, and I'm in the process right now of uninstalling and reinstalling the game on the off chance that one of the game resources is corrupted or something.

I know next to nothing about how to read DMP files however, so I'm going to figure out how to upload one appropriately and attach the link to this post here in a few minutes. If anyone can tell me what the DMP file is indicating as a likely problem, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

UPDATE: Here's the link to the zipped dump file

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by running Windows Update and install all the available updates.
- If this will not work proceed with uninstalling/reinstalling the game itself that's having problem.
- Next to try if it will still not work is to do a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics driver.
- Next is to uninstall anything related to the graphics card in Programs and Features.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer site of the GPU.
- Reboot your PC once the driver has been installed then test it again.
