I recently upgraded my Ryzen 5 1500x to a 2600x and changed my 8 GBs of memory to 16. I got the Flare X memory because it said it was for Ryzen. Now every few minutes it crashes. I believe I've updated all of my drivers and reinstalled windows 10 nothing has worked. Please help

System specs
Cpu: Ryzen 5 2600x
Memory: 16GB G.skill Flare x
Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming with bios 23

Answer: when I put the ram in single channel it runs fine. In dual channel it causes multiple BSODs.

Did you use the App center to update drivers?

https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-rev-1x#support-dl-utility

Have you run memtest86 on your ram sticks? 1 memory stick at a time, up to 8 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher means a bad stick.

Did you buy a set of 2x 8gb to replace 8gb or just add another stick? I believe individual sticks, even if same family, may not get along together. Tried running them in single channel?

One of the crashes was caused by the NVIDIA graphics card driver nvlddmkm.sys. There are a few things you can do to fix this problem.
#1. Try a full uninstall using DDU in Safe Mode then re-install the driver. [More Information]
#2. Try getting the latest version of the driver, or one of the 3 most recent drivers. http://www.nvidia.com/
#3. Allow Windows Update to download the driver for you, which might be a older/better version.

This may not fix your BSOD problems but might reduce the number of BSODs you are getting.

I just updated through app center and the only driver that wasn't up to date was the LAN driver I had. I have also run memtest86 and it passes with no errors. I'm going to run it longer to check but it seems fine. The set of ram I bought is a 2x8gb set. I still get the same crashes.
