When loading on a new hard drive Windows 7 I get 10 minutes into it and then a message comes up...as below, and when I try to redo it, it's the same thing.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

***STOP: 0X0000000A (0XFFFFFB400C40C858.0X0000000000000002,0X000000000000001.0XFFFFF80009887A3B)

If this is a memory problem, how do I check it without windows loaded on.....and sorry, I need exact instructions of how to correct the problem properly!

Thanks!

Run Memtest86 for 7 passes. Instructions are on the website:

http://www.memtest.org/

Test each memory module individually or you're likely to generate false errors. If all modules pass testing, it's more likely to be a motherboard or configuration error.

Make sure you're following the CLEAN install method to install windows 7. Follow the steps EXACTLY:

Solution
maybe apply windows 7 that has the service pack already incorporated?

real answer is i did not see that he got the bugcheck during the install process. It is just very common for people to install windows 7 RTM, update they graphics drivers and get bugchecks until they apply the service packs and updates.
