Hello, I keep getting BSoDs while playing any game. It seems to be sporadic.

Windows 7
GTX 980
16 gigs of RAM
CPU: i5 4670

How do I attach a dump file here?

Solution
I have not seen this bugcheck before:
if I were to guess it would be that the razer overlay driver is corrupting system memory and caused a corruption that led to this bugcheck. (update or remove the razer overlay drivers. look here http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.php#R and compare with the list of razer drivers) I would also change the memory dump type to kernel in case you get another bugcheck. This will allow the internal error logs to be saved in the memory dump.

- you could also have a rootkit or malware messing with your system: so do a malwarebytes scan and run the windows system file checker
sfc.exe /scannow

- i guess you could have a general memory hardware problem and would run memtest86 to check (look for a single bit...

this mini memory dump will not contain the internal logs that will razer errors, you would have to change the dump type to kernel memory dump or full memory dump.

Solution
My razer drivers are up to date. My only option for sound is my razer 7.1 Kraken. So I'm not sure I can remove the overlay drivers.

Malwarebytes turned up nothing.

I'm not sure how to change the dump type to kernal. How do I do that?

UPDATE: I have figured out the kernel issue.

I will now play a game until it crashes and attach a new dump file.

Thanks

-windows Desktop Window Manager did a integrity check and it failed and called a bugcheck.
-looks like you have two antivirus programs installed.
I would run a rootkit scanner maybe:
Get tdsskiller see if you've got a rootkit http://media.kaspersky.com/utilities/VirusUtilities/EN/...

-I would re confirm that sfc.exe /scannow does not report errors.
- make sure you don't have a hacked version of windows.

I would set your minidump type to full so internal error logs are saved in the memory dump file.
I would run verifier.exe and set debug flags to catch error in drivers. then reboot and wait until you get another bugcheck.
(you might want to uninstall norton software using their provided tools.

how to run verifier.exe: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/65331-using-driver-verifier-identify-issues-drivers.html
