Hi,

Laptop model: ACER Nitro 5 AN515-58-76HB 15.6" Gaming Laptop
Intel® Core™ i7, RTX 4050, 1 TB SSD

I have recently got a new external HDD and sometimes when i plug it in my laptop I will get
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
and when i try to input files I get
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.
Any ideas what the problem could be? I have the link to both types minidumps here

I have tried this external HDD on my work computer and it works completely fine.

I tried doing the DISM, SFC and Verifier.Exe and it didn't seem to do anything! I wouldn't be 100% though as my knowledge of these things are not great, thanks.

What external drive? Does it have external power adapter?
Sometimes USB port can't provide enough power by itself and external drive needs additional power.

Disable driver verifier. This will cause BSODs by itself.
It is meant to be used for driver development process.
You're not doing that and should not be using it.
