Hello, I have been experiencing BSOD's for almost 6 months now. I have taken the PC into geek squad several times, they found nothing wrong with the hardware and ended up reinstalling Windows 10. This seemed to help for several weeks and then the BSOD's started happening again, although not frequently (once every week or two). All my drivers were fully updated, BIOS is updated, I ran Driver Verifier, Memtest, OCCT on all of it's settings and have found no problems with them. I ended up reinstalling Windows 10 myself the other day and now I am experiencing up to 4 BSODs in a single day. I should point out that none of the BSOD's have happened when my PC is doing anything intensive, I've been able to play resource demanding games with no issues. The BSOD's always happen when the PC is left idle or I have just one tab with music playing in my browser. I've decided to just start cycling out my parts and replacing them with new ones to see if it is indeed a Hardware problem, but I'm hoping maybe someone here can find something in the DMP's that may have been missed and help me figure out what is causing this problem. I've uploaded the last few DMP files and Event Log into this zip: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuQfX8syP_a0ghaekfxkWxCsUUac?e=hJI7dY

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Nephypoo.

Let's start with your full system specs including the PSU brand and model and the version of Windows 10 you've installed and what is the source of that Windows 10?
Hey there, here are my specs, let me know if I forgot any:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.59 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PLUS
BIOS version: American Megatrends Inc. 2203, 6/17/2020
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) (Do note that I am only using one of these, not both sticks.)
PSU: Fractal Design Ion+ 660P 80 PLUS

Initially I installed Windows 10 about 6 months ago using the USB method, I can't remember the specific version.
Best Buy's geek squad installed Windows 10 on this PC in an attempt to stop the BSOD's about 3 months ago, I'm not sure their source.
The current version of Windows 10 I have is 20H2 (OS Build 19042.746). The last update for it was kb4586876

Here you are Nephypoo. This is a start, working on one of your 5 dumps. With a bit of luck, the solution for all is in this link.
Have you overclocked?

I have done all of those except for #3 and #7, I'll go ahead and try those.

I have not intentionally overclocked.

I tried out #3, sfc/scannow, it didn't report any issues with any files. I also tried #7 on both of of my drives, checking the Event Log it reported no issues with either of them. I've done everything else on the list at some point other than #2 since I don't have a webcam.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it onto your Desktop. If your default download location is not your Desktop, drag it out of it's location onto the Desktop.
If we have to run Farbar more than once, refer this SS.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) on the Desktop.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt) on the Desktop.
The logs are large, upload them using this. No time delays/Captcha-I'm not a Robot/account/registration needed. Give us the links please.

Got them.

Is fast startup disabled? If not, disable it.
How to disable Windows 10 fast startup (and why you'd want to)
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-fast-startup

Whilst I'm going through the Farbar logs, can you upload SS ( screenhots ) of these please.

Device Manager ( no need to expand )
Disk Management.

Also, upload SS of everyting Snail finds. Don't install any drivers.
SnailDriver for PC's

Here is a SS of Device Manager: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuQfX8syP_a0ghhhXj4yMULcvnS2
and Disk Management: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AuQfX8syP_a0ghcXokvFCi4Z9uo5

I have now disabled Fast Startup

The download page for Snail Driver is giving me a "Privacy Error" on my browser for some reason.

I would update both of those.

Then Run AdwCleaner
https://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Removal-Tools/AdwCleaner.shtml
Close all open programs and internet browsers.
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Click Scan Now
Click on Quarantine for all it finds.
Reboot.
Please Copy & Paste the contents of that logfile with your next reply.

After a restart ( if required ) Copy & Paste the contents of the scan into your reply.
If too large, upload to a site of your choosing.
Follow these directions, until you get to Export.

Copy & Paste the text below ( starting CreateRestorePoint: ) save it into Notepad on your Desktop & name it fixlist.txt
NOTE: It is important that Notepad is used. The fix will not work if Word or some other program is used.
NOTE: It is important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system.

Open FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that, let the tool complete its run.
When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please Copy & Paste the contents into your reply.
Refer these SS if needed.

Testing time to see if you are still getting BSOD.
Opera Browser, LogMeIn Hamachi & EpicGamesLauncher have all been giving you trouble. Uninstall ( using Geek ) one at a time & test, you can always reininstall later, if needed.

Geek Uninstaller
https://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Geek-Uninstaller.shtml
http://www.freewarefiles.com/screenshot.php?programid=85466
Just Double click on the program in Geek, that you want to uninstall. If it opens a web page, close the web page & then wait for Geek to present the 2nd step.

I will go ahead and uninstall Opera and Hamachi, I should note that I use Unreal for my job (a program tied to Epic Games Launcher), so im kind of stuck needing to use it right now. I'll go ahead and try to uninstall it if I still get BSODs without the other two. I feel I should point out that all three of these programs were installed after I started getting BSODs though. I was actually using chrome and switched over to Opera recently because I suspected Chrome was tied to the BSODs.

EDIT: Epic Games Launcher and Unreal are not even showing up as options to uninstall on Geek Uninstaller anyway, is there any way to manually find them using the program?

Neither of these are showing up in the Apps and Features menu to uninstall.

I just got a BSOD and I had both Opera and Hamachi uninstalled, so it's probably not one of those two.

EDITl: Re-installing the Epic Games Launcher allowed me to uninstall it. I'll post if I get another BSOD.
