I'm trying to install Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 15R. The "Copying Windows files" stage passes, but the next one goes to somewhere around 50% and then I get a BSOD with a different error message each time. I'm installing from a flash drive created with Microsoft's Media Creation Tool. Is there a likely cause for this?

EDIT: I'm doing a clean install

Solution
if the laptop brand new to you...take the battery out and power off the unit...flip it over and reseat the ram. if it bsod again if there two dimms in the unit..take one out to see if one of the dimms is bad. if there one dimm. download and make a hirem boot cd or usb stick and run memtest on the ram.

It indeed looks like one of the dimms was faulty. Thanks a lot!
