Hello all,

I just installed the following RAM:
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C10Q-32GXL
On my MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R2.0.
with CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T

I'm getting BSOD (I don't have the STOP code).

I'm on Windows 7 x64.

here some numbers:

The board has the latest BIOS.

PS:
MOBO's specs in regards to RAM:

4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 2133(O.C.)/1866*/1600/1333/1066 MHz ECC, Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
** Refer to www.asus.com for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists).
* Due to OS limitation, when installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows® 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Install a 64-bit Windows® OS when you want to install 4GB or more memory on the motherboard.
* Due to CPU spec., AMD 100 series CPUs support up to DDR3 1066MHz. With ASUS design, this motherboard can support up to DDR3 1333MHz.

CPU specs in regards to RAM::

Integrated DRAM Controller with AMD Memory Optimizer Technology

A high-bandwidth, low-latency integrated memory controller
Supports PC2-8500 (DDR2-1066); PC2-6400 (DDR2-800), PC2-5300 (DDR2-667), PC2-4200 (DDR2-533) or PC2-3200 (DDR2-400) SDRAM unbuffered DIMMs – AM2+
Support for unregistered DIMMs up to PC2 8500(DDR2-1066MHz) and PC3 10600 (DDR3-1333MHz) – AM3
Up to 17.1GB/s memory bandwidth for DDR2 and up to 21GB/s memory bandwidth for DDR3
Benefit: Quick access to system memory for better performance.

This is my wife's computer and although I did what Gskill recommended I haven't had time to play with it too much so I'm not sure if BSOD has been resolved or not, I'll post an update later on... thanks
