BSOD. many of them:
So i have a Lenovo X1 Yoga (16 GB Ram, i7, Win10Pro) for 2 days. After an update, several BSODs came up.
First: System thread exception not handled
Then Lenovo starts its diagnosis tool, then again an BSOD comes: "IRQL no less or equal". This also comes when i try to recover to the last point.
Other BSOD come sometimes like:

- kernel security check failure
- system thread exception not handled (cng.sys)
- kmode exception not handled (wimfsf.sys)
- page fault in nonpage area (fwbf.sys)
- system secure exception

ive never seen so many bsods. whats gone wrong?
Is a clean installation recommended or should i try to replace this device (hardware issues?)?

Solution
Can you follow option one on the following link - here
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone with right software to read them will help you fix it :)

Never seen any of these files before

fwbf.sys = something to do with Lenova, google thinks i mean fbwf.sys (are you sure you got it right?) as that would be File Based write Filter (still an usual thing to crash) - I can find it mentioned with Norton and win 7.

cng.sys seems to be Microsoft Windows Kernel Cryptography, Next...

If its 2 days old, I would be wondering about returning as well. I have never seen those files crash before so had to look them up to see what they do.

what update was it? windows or Drivers? was the update for anti virus?

Are you running Norton Antivirus? I can find all 3 of these files relating to BSOD caused by Norton. The CNG file was what made me wonder.
