[SOLVED] BSoD

Hello everyone,

since a week of 2 I get BSoD's. In first place my PC freezed when I was gaming, I decided to buy/upgrade almost everything. (That was already the plan).
Well the freezes are gone, but now I got BSoD like 1/2 times a day.

I bought almost everything new, a new PC case, Mobo, CPU, RAM, PSU, Liquid CPU cooler. I installed a fresh Windows on the other SSD to make sure. And im still getting a BSoD sometimes.

All temperatures are good (CPU, GPU, SSD's, HDD) all drivers are up to date.

I checked the dumpfiles with BlueScreenView and the following things are coming up:

Crash 1:

If you look at the screenshot, it says that both BSoD are caused by hall.dll driver.

Can please somebody help me out? It's really frustrating because i've got like 1000+ euro's on new stuff, and still a problem.

p.s. I tried another GPU, but the same thing happens.

Could you post a link to the dump files themselves so we can download them?
Also could you please post your entire system spec including PSU make and model?
Were there any components you re-used from your old system?
If you re-used the storage drives - did you clean reinstall windows with the new system?

MoBo: MSI MPG z390 Gaming Pro Carbon with socket 1151.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 (LPX, XMP)
SSD: 1x Samsung 850 evo 250GB / 1x HDD Seagate 2TB / 1x small SSD Kingston 56gb
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970.
Chassis: Sharkoon TG5 RGB Tower.
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise.
Cooling: Coolermaster MasterLiquid ML240L.
PSU: Corsair CX750M 750 watt.

Everything(Except GPU and SSD/HDD) is new, a fey days old.

Could you post a link to the dump files themselves so we can download them?

I formatted all of the disks and installed a complete fresh new Windows.

Any file sharing site, usually google drive can be easiest if you already have an account. Just have to set it to public and share it.

Summary of findings:

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
"A WHEA ERROR is almost solely hardware based. It is possible in rare circumstances for this to be a driver, however it is very unlikely. It is often caused by:

• Component overheating
• Unstable overclocking or XMP profile
• Faulty hardware"

Some things to consider:

• I couldn't pull out system info, unfortunately downfall of minidumps, kernel dumps would usually be preferred.
• are you running any overclocks or XMP/DOCP at all?
• Have you monitored CPU and GPU temps under load?
• DId you actually have these problems before the change, or was it just freezes you had previously?

No overclocks and XMP/DOCP.
CPU max 57 degrees
GPU max 75 degrees.

Before this setup I had total freezes with gaming, I had to turn off my PC via the on/off switch.

I don’t have any problems anymore with freezing etc. since I’ve got this new setup.

Right so whilst there are modules we could look at, WHEA is usually always hardware or firmware.
But I have also seen these caused by peripheral devices, presumably from the drivers you are running some Corsair Headsets? I would remove these and also disable or remove the associated drivers too to verify.

I would also remove any MSI Afterburner apps you have installed:

It appears 3 times, but also is a known BSOD depending on how it's configured for example.

Following that, do you have latest BIOS installed?
