I've had this computer from last november. Built it myself, But out of no where I began to get blue screens just recently. The only things that I remember downloading and installing recently are the new gtx drivers and windows silver light. So I uninstalled silverlight and that changed nothing. I just uninstalled gtx drivers and reinstalled older ones but nothings changed. Im thinking it may be my computer is just full of dust and over heating?

It mainly happens though while I play a video game. It started when I was playing stronghold Crusader 2, but now its happening on Darksouls 2, CS:GO, etc. I usually put up a video in some cases on my other monitor because I have a short attention span when it comes to strategy games. The right monitor will also have a small line of weird looking...(glitch)? A green line of what looks like just a buggy monitor. That gave me reason to suspect it was my gpu.

If it happens again I'll try to get you guys a document with all of its information about the bsod.

Oddly, sometimes the blue screens will restart my computer and absolutely nothing will come up. No crash information or anything. But I have been getting a "updatetool.exe not found" whenever I start my pc up. Could that have something to do with it?

Okay. I just had another one restart my pc with a blue screen. Still no information showed up upon rebooting. But the blue screen stayed on long enough to say "Driver IRQL Not Less Or Equal" Thats all it says.

If you can get into windows again press windows key+r type msconfig go to startup tab. Untick updatetool.exe

It must be in startup. Or if ccleaner is installed go to tools/startup, disable or delete it

I think it belongs to EA origin. Thats if you no longer use it. But it should stop that message coming up

Still need the dmp files somehow, to see what else is on the system

Is there a way to get to them? Because nothing shows up after the restart.

If that link didnt work just use this one http://i62.tinypic.com/3535ift.jpg

The minidump file showed absolutely nothing

all thats plugged in now-------
Razer deathstalker
Razer naga
Netgear a6200

No longer plugged in after this post--------
(This could be the culprit) A turtle beach headset that i havent been using. [The only part that was plugged in was the main part that you plug the actual headset into. This could explain why the game crashes in loud sequences. Although it probably isnt the culprit]
A Pen and touch tablet (unplugged it now that im not using it anymore)

Nothing other than the specified apple usb plug. And that was just a couple of hours ago. I'd never install a program that would charge my ipod. I can just plug it into the wall.

So far no bluescreen, however its too early to tell. The bsod did come up as randomly as it wanted. Also things have gotten extremely slow. Especially in the desktop. Games have become laggy and poor responsive as well as other tasks like going onto chrome of just opening files or running programs.

I have but canceled during it because it because the defrag program while it was defragging, and when I say this the program kept crashing. This was during the bluescreen and before the slow pc. The performance of the cpu was at around 100% usage. But it began to decline to where it is now. 7-30%. I think im going crazy, or there are a bunch of random things opening when I boot up.
