[SOLVED] BSOD's from failing HDD?

Hello, I had 2 recent BSOD's one on 24th with the code : Unexpected store exception and yesterday when powering off I got the BSOD code Critical Process Died, both of them didn't create a minidump and i had to after a while force shutdown from the case.


On the first BSOD i opened crystal disk info and the status was good, but yesterday I opened it again and it was on "caution" and had Reallocated sector count: 8 (05), Current pending sector count: 8 (c5), and Uncorrectable Sector count: 8 (c6).

The 2nd BSOD happened also when shutting down.

Any help would be very appreciated!

Check the codes for your errors:

Sometimes Windows gives you BSOD's without any reason, but if the Unexpected Store Exception codes starts to happen often then it's certainly a failing drive. I get RAM related BSOD's really rarely without a reason, but my system is almost brand new.

I did the seagate tools fix all long test, it failed at 99 or 100% and said this in following image

Does that mean the main problem is the HDD and I replace it?

Yeah, since it has failed the test you should replace it. If there is any important data try to upload it on a cloud somewhere or transfer it on your new drive before the HDD is completely dead.
