I keep having freezes or BSODs on my PC. Before I did a clean install my PC would freeze before or after login, sometimes even on safemode. Only using the power button caused any response. Booting into safemode and using DDU to uninstall my graphics drivers usually fixed the problem, but not always. When in safemode some exes would be missing and opening DDU would give some I/O errors and not run. Rebooting a few times usually fixes this temporarily.

BSODs only started after clean installing, (MACHINE_EXCEPTION_CHECK and CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIME). Using chrome sometimes causes freezes but only requires a reboot.

Freezes also occur when running ubuntu 15.10.

SPECS:

Cooler Master 212 Evo
MSI Z97 PC MATE (MS-7850)
Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Single Channel
Crucial MX100 256GB

Zotac Nvidia GTX 770 AMP! Edition
Corsair RM 650

Any ideas would be helpful !

I recently reflashed my bios (latest version)as I was having some problems in it too (weird graphical error with lines going across screen, see pics below). I will try running pc without any overclock or voltage changes and stress test for a bit. I have been using Intel XTU as for some reason I can't change OC settings in BIOS other than the OC Genie software button.
