Hi all,

I recently connected a Bluetooth speaker up to my pc and it worked fine, no issues. I normally use a headset so then went several days without using it, however the next time I tried to connect it, it wouldn't let me use it as an output device. It still shows as being connected/paired, and the pc seems to recognise it as an audio device, however it isn't in the dropdown options to use as an output device.

I have tried removing the device and re connecting with no luck. Below are some screenshots. The device is called SRO6151

What is the make and model of your BlueTooth adapter? You might want to see if uninstalling your BlueTooth adapter's drivers, then sourcing the latest version from support site, then reinstalling it in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator solves the issue. You might also want to see if you have any BIOS updates pending for your desktop/laptop(you mentioned PC but didn't specify the platform, considering HP market laptop's as PC's as well).

By removing the device, did you uninstall the headset from Device Manager? Sadly the image links aren't working for me.
