BTX PSU confusion with Low Profile Case

Hi, i usually don't ask in forums, because chances are 40 people have asked before you, but after trying to find answers for 4 hours, i'm at my wits end, so i have a low profile case with a BTX MOBO (HP 3047h), The computer itself was a refurbished HP 6005 Pro Small Form Factor PC (don't laugh, it was cheap 😀 )
My next step is a PSU before i upgrade from a Onboard HD4200 GPU (looking at a 2gb Geforce GT 630, which ASUS recomends a 350W or greater PSU, so the dinky 240W wont cut it, the only problem is that the MOBO and the PSU are BTX, which i slightly understand the reasoning for making the computer that way, what i cant understand is why it is so hard to find a higher output BTX PSU, (unless this is the same as a MicroATX, which i suspect but cant verify) Anyways, the main problem is, i'm trying to find a power supply for my system, something over 400W, and it is near impossible... am i missing something, or is this more Proprietary BS from HP with no workaround? I am also working on a small budget, But especially for a PSU i would be willing to spend a little bit extra for quality parts, but trying to keep it under $100

Yes, you are hard to find that format the PSU, also the GT 630 only need 65W to power up ( go to http://pcpartpicker.com add your GPU and you will see the wattage it need), so the 240W psu will be enough for it. Make sure you need the low profile, and single slot video card.
You may think about to upgrade the whole system don't use too much $$ to upgrade this PC.

So how do i find out how much wattage my PC is already using, or do i have to build the whole PC with that site? and your right, i don't want to put too much into that system, but it was cheaper than a bare bones, and even if i get a barebones in the future, i got a 750gb hard drive, 4gb ram, and a dvd burner along with the rest of a computer for less than $200

And do i need to worry about my future ram upgrades? (going from 2 2GB stick to 4 4gb sticks, so from 4-16gb Ram)

You don't 16GB RAM for the daily usage, 4GB will be good enough. For the OEM PC, upgrading is limit like your PC, because the size of PSU and the case, you hard to get the better GPU because you need low profile GPU and also can't find bigger wattage PSU. Most of time you can upgrade the RAM and HDD, DVD to blu-ray.
