I'm not 100% on this, but i'm pretty sure buddy codes just give you a 30 day
account, with only 5 slots.
Again, not 100%, but i believe that to get the gift and 6th character slot, you
have to buy a 7th Anni box for every account.
Not sure if the new account code on the jewel case will grant a reward,
though...might be useful to make a throw-away account just to snag an extra
gift...hmm...
I am wondering, though...since the gifts will be given to everyone when the
actual 7th Anniversary comes along, will those that were given a gift through
the boxed set be allowed another choice?

you might be able to sell off, and complete your gift set without spending
millions of gold, it might just be worth it...*
