Buddy list

I'd like to be able to see my buddy list or even a forum user list when i'm in a forum

example, in Community you see the list, in Other you dont...I wanna see it in there!

Yeah, I asked for that sometime ago - It would be pretty useful to have it everywhere. It doesn't take up much space either.

:? Um, seriously, can someone please explain this whole Buddy List thing?

I mean one day I notice a funny buddy list icon next to someone's name. And I can't recall having done a thing to put it there.

Then another day I accidentally find where to remove names from the list. So I wiped the list clean.

No offense to anyone if removing you from my list sent some nasty message or broke your heart, but I really don't give a flying fairy fart about this whole buddy list thing. I mean, I don't even get the point of this buddy list thing.

I mean shouldn't there at least be a prominant FAQ on what the heck it is and how to use it? Could someone please explain it to me and why I should actually be interested in this 'feature'?

It's pretty useful if you send a lot of PM's or are friends with forum members and want to know if they are online. A small FAQ could be useful though.

But I guess what I want to know is, how did people get on my buddy list? I mean shouldn't I have to add people to my list to get them there? It's not like someone else can add themselves to my list, is it? :?
