An SSD for your app's to load up faster would be a good first purchase. A 240GB SSD will be filled up fast, if you work with multiple photos at large res' at a time while on Adobe's Photoshop then you'll be best served with a large program/boot drive for need of scratch disk space. Double up your storage space as I'm assuming photo editing puts a meal on your table or some change in your pocket so protect your investments ;) If possible go for a RAID 1 setup with 2x2TB SATA drives provided your motherboard supports having a total of 4~6 SATA connections to the chipset. Speaking of which what is your motherboard?

A workstation GPU could be a good idea if you're a workaholic but they will cost an arm and a leg. So might just settle for...

A workstation GPU could be a good idea if you're a workaholic but they will cost an arm and a leg. So might just settle for something like a GTX750Ti. Go for a Quad core chip if your budget permits. Speaking of budget, how much do we get to spend? What site would you like to purchase off of?
