So first I'm gonna start out and say I didn't know where to post this since it's about all kinds of parts for my pc.

Also, I should mention I'm a newbie to gaming pcs I usually just use laptops.

Hello, I'm currently thinking about building a budget 500$ gaming pc but I'm not sure if all of these parts are compatible so here are some of my parts.

Rosewill Micro Atx Mini Tower Computer Case $23.99

EVGA 450 BR 80+ Bronze 450W Power Supply

Gigabyte GA-H110M-A LGA1151 Intel H110 Micro ATX DDR4 Motherboard 69.99

Intel Core i5 7500k LGA 1151 7th Gen Core Desktop Processer

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16 (PC4-19200) Memory Kit - Black (CMK8GX4M1A2400C16)

Seagate BarraCuda 1TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache for Computer Desktop PC – Frustration Free Packaging (ST1000DMZ10)

And last but not least the Gpu

EVGA GeForce GT 1030 SC 2GB GDDR5 Passive, Low Profile Graphics Card 02G-P4-6332-KR

I am not sure if links are allowed so I didn't put them here if they are I will edit this and put them here.

Parts seem to be compatible, but not that much, IMO, because you are pairing a high-end powerful processor with a very weak GPU though, the GT 1030. Is this for Gaming, or some other purpose ?

The GT 1030 is just an entry-level GPU, not meant for heavy gaming loads. Any GTX----Model is better >>>>>> GT-----Model (for gaming).

The GT 1030 card seems ideal for e-sports gaming, HTPC enthusiasts , or replacing integrated graphics in home theater PCs or productivity machines, especially given its multi-monitor support. As it's not a GTX card, it lacks support for premium GeForce features like G-Sync, Ansel, and GameStream, though it does play nice with the GeForce Experience app.

EDIT: I'm sorry, NO, those parts aren't compatible. The motherboard has no support for the Intel Core i5 8600k 8'th GEN CPU.

Pc part picker. Com is an excellent resource for finding compatible parts for a build . It also gives you a price index so you know the total cost and where to purpose the components. I'd also suggest going with Solid states instead of a traditional HDD . A smaller one for the OS and a larger one for games and other programs . Best of luck to you !

* EDIT *
Solid state drives don't improve game performance in the common sense of the term . They do however eliminate wait time for launch , installation and updates go from minutes to Meer seconds . I see this asked alot on the Web . Thought I'd answer before it was asked again 😊

Edit I meant the i5 7500 sorry for the confusion!
I just got confused because I looked at two different CPUs. Seems Like I'm good to go for the most part! Also I am getting to get gt 1030 as a budget card and upgrade to the 1060 or 1050ti if possible
