Approximate Purchase Date: As soon as possible
Budget Range: ($700-$750) After Rebates; After Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Recording, editing, and uploading Multiplayer/Modded Minecraft videos to YouTube. I don't have a preferred software for this, any advise would be great!; Listening to music. Some nice big speakers would be nice. (Seperate budget of $200); surfing the web, attending online college classes.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Starting from scratch. I have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes. Windows 10 needed.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No knowledge/preferrence.

Location: Pocatello, ID, USA. Zip 83201

Parts Preferences: nvidia? Shadowplay has been suggested to me and I think I need nvidia somethin. I have no knowledge of computers lol, please help.

Overclocking: Dunno what this means. Whatever you guys think is best.

SLI or Crossfire: Dunno what this means. Also whatever you guys think is best.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: Looks don't matter at all. PC is hidden away in a Filtered and cooled desk compartment. I have no idea what programs I will need, or how to get them. ANY tips or tricks would be appreciated! I'd like to have everything ordered asap! a Mic would also be ideal, and some way of making it so that my keyboard and mouse can't be heard during gameplay if possible. if a headset alone could do this that would be great, price doesnt matter much on that.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Need a computer! Don't have one right now.

Let me know if you need any other info! Any and all help is appreciated! Thank you so much!

Solution
You have to format it first. You will see option for custom install. You will want to select that so you can partition and format your drive. You want to install it on the SSD, also. You may have to go to your bios, to change boot order.

Since you are going to use shadowplay to do the recording, this would work. You would want the game on the SSD, and then record to the 1tb HDD.

Is Shadowplay my best bet? What's an optical drive?

So, your build is strong enough to record and everything? Should I buy it right now, or wait for a few more build to spark some ideas? Thanks for the speedy reply!

For a start, shadowplay is a very solid option. Once you get used to shadowplay for a few months (or years :D), you can switch to something more advanced like Xplit or OBS if necessary.

Please help! I got all the parts and put the PC together, but I have questions.
1. Why won't my PC recognize my hard drive?
2. Where do I install my SSD?

I haven't used any disks other than the OS disk and that didn't go flawlessly

Thanks! I think I'm just gonna take it all apart and do it again, other than the cpu. Everyone was saying that it's easy to do, I'm not buyin it! It's definitely a difficult task!

Bios recognizes it, I can't install Windows on it though. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I have no idea what I'm talking about
