Hi,

I'm building a budget system for my grandparents so I decided to go with the AMD, the problem is I don't know nothing on AMD boards. What I need is:
1. AM2 board
2. Integrated GPU
3. Cheap
4. I prefer an Asus or Gigabyte board (this is because of the store I'm buying in)

The system will probably be with X2 3800+ and 1 GB ddr667

Thanks

I'm running two machines with the ASUS M2NPV-VM, one office machine and one exclusively for video editing, very stable. While there is little performance difference between the X2 3600 and X2 3800, at least when I got mine there was only $10 difference so I went with the 3800. You can get 1GB ADATA DDR2 for about $65 so it makes sense to go with the 800. This is the machine I use for capturing, editing, and burning video and it works fine so unless they're into something more more resource intensive than this, it should work fine. I'd also suggest 2 hard drives, one small one for the OS and programs and one for programs, this will make there data more secure and it's easy to learn to save to the D Drive.
