Budget BF3 Recording

Looking to put together a budget build for playing and recording BF3, using Fraps or MSI Afterburner. I'm stuck deciding between an FX-4100 and the new 6300. I imagine that the 6300 is quite a step up, but I'm working with a very limited and fixed budget, and I would love to free up the extra $30 for use on the video card. I fine using whatever settings will give me playable FPS, and will probably bump the resolution down to 720p. Do you guys think the FX-4100 will allow me to play AND record game footage while still maintaining 40+ FPS?

I actually have a friend who uses the 7750 in a budget build and is quite happy with it, but I don't see how that is relevent to my CPU question.

Went with the 6300 in a bundle deal from Microcenter. While rendering video, all 6 cores are at 90-98%. Glad I made the right decision. The full build was MSI 970a-46, AMD FX-6300, Gigabyte 7770, 2x4gb Ballistix Sport 1600Mhz, WD 7200RPM HDD, and a Corsair CX430. Here's a sampling of BF3 on med/high settings. Also, the price came out to $575 with a 20" AOC montior, and I have two $15 rebates to send in. Just fyi for anyone else looking to build a BF3 budget rig.
