Hey all, my uncle was wanting a budget build to play X-Planes 11 and other flight sim games. Here's what I got so far. Keep in mind he has to purchase a monitor and is trying to keep the entire set up under $1000

I'd take the Ryzen 2600 easily over the 8100 as it has more cores/threads and a better upgrade path. Also the RX 570 performs a little bit better then the 1650 for cheaper. Also the Seasonic Focus Plus is a far better quality PSU over that Thermaltake.

  • I agree with the RX570. Similar performance to the GTX1650, but far lower price.
  • My RAM kit is CAS 16
  • SSD
  • Case with tempered glass side panel instead of acrylic.
  • I agree that the Focus+ is a good PSU, but maybe a bit too expensive for this budget
  • Threw in a recommended monitor with 40-75Hz FreeSync over DP and HDMI.
