I need help with the this build as I'm on a budget of 899$ and I'm exceeding it even without a cabinet.
All choices are flexible except the processor and graphics card. Yes I do need a cabinet and I don't care of the SSD but if it fits in no problem.

I see. This is for work & gaming, right? Maybe 16GB would be a good idea. And a fairly good cpu overclock would keep up w/ a high-end gpu.

you should not buy FX-8320 if you wont oc. You cant oc FX-8320 w/ stock cooler and a cheap mobo.
You have money enough for Haswell i5 and GTX970. If you want a gaming build nothing could beat it at your price range.

@fillipi,

Your build is great but I prefer amd processors, as I do some designing work which would love the 8 cores, yes, I do game a lot but still amd is my preference. Do you have a build with an amd processor?
