budget build pc

im trying to build a budget pc but im not sure if my parts are compatible, these are my specs
i3-4170
gtx 1050 ti
8 gb hyperx ram blue 1600 ddr3
120 gb sandisk ssd
xion 310 case
evga 500 watt psu

i know the cpu is not very modern but i bought it with a prebuilt and im trying to save $$. i selected these parts to game on games like rust, csgo, h1z1, mw2, player unknown battlegrounds, and arma 3 so if there is a better option for around the same price then please mention that, and also if i an wasting too much money on a specific part

The build looks fine, though i would recommend to either get a bigger SSD or a 1TB HDD Western Digital WD10EZEX
