I am starting to purchase parts this weekend for my first budget build and would like some advice. The goal for this build is to put together something that should last me some time with some upgrades in the future.
This is my wishlist thus far:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($209.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($108.79 @ Newegg)
Memory: Kingston Fury Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: PNY Optima 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($74.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 270 2GB TurboDuo Video Card ($99.99 @ Newegg) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit) ($82.85 @ SuperBiiz)
Upfront I likely wont overclock the CPU but would like the option to down the road.
I want to crossfire the r9 270 down the road to stay.
With all this said what is a good BUDGET psu/what type of wattage should I be looking for?
Additionally should I be looking for modular or? kinda uncertain the best route.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
