I was wondering whether this build would be good for gaming and if not what should I get. My budget is £500

It's ok for an entry level gaming unit. I'd replace the PSU with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 unit of 550w or more as listed here:

Corsair CX, CS, RM and VS series units are not generally recommended by experienced builders for use with gaming cards that require supplemental power due to the exceptionally high rate of issues with those units in gaming machines.
