So i upgraded my old dell optiplex to at least play CounterStrike Source...but i feel i'm lacking and i have the itch to build my own...so please be kind and use laymens terms as i'm a total noob when it comes to computers and internal parts...please break it down! lol anyways this is what i have for a sub $600 build.

This unit will live its life surfing the web and playing CS:S i have no need to play any of the top of the line games, i have an Xbox One for that(yes i play console but very very rarely!)

Ok so i got the Rosewill Ranger-m and the ASRock h97M anni motherboard....I'm having a few questions:

The motherboard has 2 fan plugs: Chassis fan 1 and CPU fan 1....the case has an intake and exhaust...what do i plug where?

Also the case came with HDD LED, Power LED + , Power LED -, Reset SW...each are their own plug, do i need an adaptor for the motherboard or what? If so where does said adaptor go?

Thanks in advance.

PS, I'm still waiting on my power supply and processor to arrive. should be here tomorrow, then all i have left to order is Ram and Video card and Windows. Then DONE!:)
